Welcome to Liverpool Rotary Club

On 14th November 1949 an inaugural meeting called by Rotary Club of Camden, through the District Governor's Representative, Vice President Bret Tegal, at Liverpool Golf Club, unanimously voted in favour of forming a Provisional Rotary Club.

Charter No. 7406 was granted to the Rotary Club of Liverpool on 16th December 1949. The boundary of the club included the municipalities of Liverpool and Fairfield.

From the day of its formation, Liverpool Rotary Club has played a very active and dedicated role in the Liverpool District and World Community.

The Diversity of trades and professions of its members, (a fundamental principle of Rotary) gave and gives a wealth of talent. This talent, harnessed and focussed by progressive Presidents over the years, led to many organisations and individuals receiving needed and welcomed assistance from the Club in one form or another.

It was not uncommon in the early years nor is it uncommon today, to see Rotarians cheerfully giving up their valuable spare time to initiate or complete many Rotary fundraising events or Community Project.
